So tonight I went to Kroger and I spent $23.32 for over $100worth of groceries!
I bought:
2 packages of carefree pantiliners
8 bars of Lever 2000 soap
2 bars of Dove soap
2 tubes of Aqua Fresh toothpaste
2 Soft Soap Body washes
Suave Body Wash
2 boxes of Quaker Oats simple HArvest
Bryers Twix Ice CReam
Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats
2 boxes of Ronzoni Rotini
3 cans Campbell Soup
Hot Pocket Calzone
Pulsar toothbrush
Colgate Toothbrush
2 packages of Muellers Thin Spaghetti
2 packages of Kroger Brand Mac and Cheese
2 Soup in Hand CAmpbells soup
2 packages of Angel Hair pasta
2 boxes of Granola bites
A Glade Candle
Gallon Kroger Organic milk
Idaho Potatoe Flakes

I love getting these bargains!
It's been a while since a have posted something. Almost a month! Things are crazy around here as usual. I can't believe Spring is almost here. I can't wait. This snow and cold starts to get to you after a little while.
See! I told you I would talk about coupons today...My kids are in bed. Quiet. I can concentrate and reflect on my day. I love coupons! I have a little story to tell... A few months back my sister-in-law introduced me to couponing. Well, I knew about coupons and I had used them many times before but she told me that Kroger doubles $1.00 coupons. Yeah! Anyway, a few months back I went shopping when Kroger was having their buy one get one free meat sale. I got $290.00 worth of groceries for $86.00!!!!!! I had an overflowing basket full! I was like Christmas! Anyway, it's possible to save a ton of money this way. Just get a paper every sunday and start clipping! I drove over 500 miles today! I had to go to the house I rent out and do my landlord duties. I got 6 errands done in a matter of 45 minutes! I felt very accomplished. I came home from a very long day and I did my dishes, 3 loads of laundry and vaccumed my floor. Needless to say we ordered pizza for dinner. I'm good but I'm not Wonder Woman!! LOL
Everyday I get up, make breakfast for my boys, throw in a load of laundry, check all of my e-mail, message boards, etc., and usually get a cup of coffee in while watching Curious George. lol If I'm lucky I get a shower without someone running in the bathroom screaming! IMO, that is a lot to do in 20 minutes. I have to say that being a mother is one of the most incredible things to do in life. It is very important that one doesn't lose herself in motherhood but to embrace it as one of her greatest accomplishments. I love seeing the amazing little people I am raising. They are so smart and fun. Don't get me wrong there are times I want to run through my house screaming like a mad women because they won't listen. Life isn't perfect people! LOL The rewards are greater than the aggravations. That's it for today...Maybe I'll talk about coupons tomorrow!
